There is a training infrastructure for BSFT or FET that can be tailored to meet the needs of the agency/organization. These EBPs require clinicians to develop clinical skills in family systems therapy via didactic, experiential, and supervised practicum formats.
Dean Fixsen identified two critical obstacles to full and faithful implementation of any evidence-based program: "...human service organizations [that] are thinly resourced and face high rates of turnover at practitioner and leadership levels ... are disruptive to any attempts to systematically implement practices of any kind. Because the status quo is so thoroughly entrenched, the implementation of evidence-based practices and programs initially may take persistent efforts over longer periods of time."
